Babolat Pure Drive Junior

The Pure Drive is the most popular adult racquet in the world, and Babolat has done a careful job of carrying the same DNA into a junior frame. The Pure Drive Junior gives developing players the same balance of easy power and modern spin in a 25" or 26" length they can actually swing through. The construction is full graphite — not the cheaper composite found in beginner junior racquets — so improving 8-12 year olds get a frame that grows with their game rather than holding it back.

Who it suits

The Pure Drive Junior 25 (240g) suits ages 8-10 (130-140cm); the Pure Drive Junior 26 (250g) suits ages 10-12 (140-150cm). For something with more spin focus, see the Babolat Pure Aero Junior; for size guidance overall, browse the 26" junior tennis racquets page.

Frequently asked questions

What age is the Pure Drive Junior 25 for?
Ages 8-10 (around 130-140cm tall). It's lighter and shorter than the 26" model, making it easier for smaller players to swing through.

Is the Pure Drive Junior the same as the adult Pure Drive?
Same family DNA — power, spin, lively response — but built lighter (240-250g) and shorter (25-26") for developing players.

Does the Pure Drive Junior come pre-strung?
Yes — all junior Babolat models arrive pre-strung and ready to play.

When should my child move from a junior to an adult Pure Drive?
Most players transition around age 12-13, once they're comfortable with the 26" frame and approaching 150cm. Look at the adult Babolat range when ready.

Do you ship junior racquets Australia-wide?
Yes — free shipping on orders over $129.
