Sturdy Racquets – Return & Refund Policy

At Sturdy Racquets, we want every customer to shop with confidence. While we ensure all items are checked carefully before dispatch or handover, we understand that issues or changes of mind can occur. Our Return & Refund Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to follow.


1. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items – Full Refund

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is:

  • Defective

  • Damaged in transit

  • Incorrect

You are entitled to a full refund or replacement.

In-Store Purchases

Please inspect all items thoroughly before leaving the store.

  • Defects reported after leaving the store cannot be accepted.

Online Purchases

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

  • Any defects, damage, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your package.

  • Contact us via email at hello@sturdyracquets.com.au.

  • Claims made after 48 hours cannot be accepted.

Once verified, we will arrange a full refund or replacement and guide you through the return steps.


2. Change-of-Mind Returns – Store Credit (30 Days)

We understand that sometimes you simply change your mind. For both in-store and online purchases, you may return your item for a store credit valid for 1 year.

Conditions for Change-of-Mind Returns

To qualify, the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and in pristine resaleable condition

  • In its original packaging (if any)

  • With all original tags and labels attached

  • Accompanied by any free gifts or accessories received

Change-of-mind returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Items returned after 30 days cannot be accepted.

Return Postage (Online Orders)

  • Buyer pays return postage.

  • Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • We strongly recommend registered post with signature, as lost parcels cannot be refunded.

Store credit will be issued once the item is received and inspected.


3. Customised Items – Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Items that have been customised, altered, personalised, or modified cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Racquets restrung with your chosen string or tension

  • Grip customisation

  • Personalisation or modification services

  • Any product altered from its original factory condition

Once customised, the product is no longer considered new.


4. Return Instructions

You may return the item:

By Post

Include the following clearly on/in the parcel:

  • Full Name

  • Invoice Number

  • Mobile Number

Parcels lost in transit cannot be refunded.
Store credit will be processed once the returned item is received and approved.


5. Exclusions

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customised racquets (e.g., restrung, grip changed, modified)

  • Worn, scratched, or used racquets

  • Socks, abdominal guards, and undergarments (hygiene reasons)

  • Sale & clearance items

  • Products returned without proof of purchase

  • Products not meeting the 30-day window
