New strings make an old racquet feel new. They bring back the control, the spin and the comfort. We restring racquets every day in Brooklyn, on the same Yonex machine used at the Australian Open, and we will tell you straight which string suits your game.

  1. Bring your racquet in. Any brand, any age, bought anywhere.
  2. Tell us how you play. We pick the tier and tension with you. It takes two minutes.
  3. We call you when it is ready. Usually within 24 to 48 hours. Pay in store, by card, cash or Afterpay.

Sore arm?

Go softer. A multifilament string at the low end of your racquet's tension range. Standard or Premium tier.

Want more spin?

Go polyester, 1.25 mm or thinner, at a middle tension. Premium tier or above.

Not sure?

Premium tier, our recommended string, middle of the tension range printed on your racquet. That is right for most players.

Common questions

How much does a restring cost?
Standard $55, Premium $65, Ultra Premium $75, Ultimate Performance $85, string included. On a racquet you buy from us: $19.95, $39.95, $49.95 and $59.95. Your own string: $35 labour, or $15.95 with a racquet purchase.
Can I get it back the same day?
Usually, yes. Drop off before 12 pm and call ahead. Without calling, allow 24 to 48 hours.
How often should I restring?
As many times a year as you play each week. Sooner if the strings have moved, feel dead, or your shots keep going long.
Do you string badminton or squash racquets?
No. We string tennis racquets only, adult and junior. We do not string badminton or squash racquets.
What machine do you use?
A Yonex Precision 9.0. It is the machine used at Australian Open level events, and it pulls every string to exactly the tension we set.
